BT Redcare operations have now closed
As of 15 December 2025, BT has closed all Redcare operations. We recognise this is a significant change and remain committed to supporting our customers throughout this transition.
What does this mean for my Redcare Alarm?
From 15 December, we will begin ceasing all Redcare operations. Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) will be notified as devices lose connectivity. Once all devices have been ceased, we will decommission connectivity to all ARCs. This process may take several days to complete.
If you’re an end user still relying on this service, you should speak to your alarm maintenance provider, or your Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), to discuss your options.
Minimising disruption
Since 2024, we’ve kept the industry informed at every stage and worked closely with our customers as we prepare to close the service. Our focus has been on ensuring as many services as possible were migrated or ceased in advance, helping to minimise any disruption once the closure took effect.
The newer range of Redcare products has been transferred to AddSecure, where they will continue to be monitored as usual. These products are also available for new installations and can be purchased directly through AddSecure by calling 0204 614 3170. To learn more about our collaboration with AddSecure, click here.
