What is Broadband Max?

Broadband Max is simply a generic name used to refer to the new products which have been introduced to the BT Wholesale Broadband portfolio - BT Datastream Max; BT Datastream Max Premium; BT IPstream Max and BT IPstream Max Premium.  These End User Access products will allow you to provide your customers with the fastest BT Wholesale provided ADSL broadband service that their telephone line can reliably support, providing downstream line-rate speeds of between 288Kbit/s and 8128Kbit/s.

These products will mean your end user customers can take advantage of the growing availability of high bandwidth internet services and applications - video on demand, webcasting, fast music download and online gaming.  The two Premium products also offer faster upstream rates to help address the needs of end users who need to transfer large files between customers and colleagues.

Like the products currently available, they are self-install which means that there is normally no need for an engineer to visit and all equipment needed to connect to the service is supplied by the Service Provider.

The Broadband Max range of products utilise a powerful error correction and automatic line management technology to ensure a more stable service performance.
