WBCC offers CPs an integrated end-to-end IP & Ethernet based converged voice and broadband service providing flexibility for CPs to differentiate in broadband / voice features, overlay and integrate next generation SIP based applications, and call packages. The product is an alternative to a separate SMPF based broadband services and WLR components.
WBCC differs from any proposed Voice Line Access (VLA) product in as much that it offers MPF based voice and broadband support in a single integrated product that provides single CP interfaces for ordering, provision, assurance as well as a single SLG and Bill.
The product will provide call conveyance and signalling support to the CP handover point (CP’s call server) allowing CPs to decide upon voice features, functionality and performance / quality levels.
