Please note that, in response to feedback from Communications Providers, we have refined the ordering process set out in Appendix 1. Under the amended process once we have sent an email order letter with a routes spreadsheet a contract will be established when the Communications Provider starts to pass routes to BT. Consequently,  acceptance of BT’s offer occurs at that point rather than when the Communications Provider sends an acceptance by email.

We will not be seeking to amend earlier versions of any related documentation which required formal acceptances from Communications Providers. Instead, we will rely on this notification as an explanation of the amended process.

Note that BT has refined the ordering process contained within Appendix 1 in response to Operator feedback. Consequently BT will be operating a process whereby once BT has offered an e-mail order letter with a routes spreadsheet a contract will be established once the Operator starts to pass routes to BT. Thus, acceptance of BT’s offer occurs when routes pass rather than through any accepting e-mail from the Operator. This process is detailed in the documentation attached in this website. BT will not be seeking to amend earlier versions of text which required formal acceptances from Operators but will instead rely on this notification as an explanation of the refined process.
