Lack of funds 'means lack of resources' for firms

Lack of funds means that many enterprises concerned about their network performance are unable to do anything about it.

According to Damovo UK, cutbacks also mean that some businesses are losing resources which is only further adding to their troubles.

Glyn Owen, portfolio manager at the company said that in order to try and combat the problem, firms are working to get more out of their existing infrastructures.

To do this, more applications are being put on to the networks, with real-time programs such as voice and video solutions being particularly popular.

Mr Owen claims enterprises are also "approaching it very much more in a little bit of an ad-hoc way rather than perhaps a much more thought out and planned approach".

Research by Damovo UK has recently revealed that 82 per cent of businesses are concerned about the performance of their network.<br/>
