Enterprises More Satisfied than SMBs with WANs

Enterprise users are more satisfied with their wide-area network (WAN) data service providers than their smaller counterparts, new research has revealed.

According to technology analyst In-Stat, those organisations with multiple business locations and more than 50 employees derived the most benefit form their WAN services.

Interestingly, enterprise customers were also more likely to consider that their service providers are positioned to meet future service requirements.

The research also provided that carrier customers feel more confident than cable company customers that their WAN services provider understands issues related to the size of their business.

In other news, In-Stat reported earlier this month that a growing number of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are installing multi-service business gateway (MSBG) devices to integrate their various communication channels.

The analyst claimed that MSBGs will be the primary means by which SMBs adopt nearly all future communication technologies and solutions.
