BT Wholesale has identified an issue with a small number of Carrier Pre Selection (CPS) orders.
The issue is with simultaneous provisioning of CPS on Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) new provide orders. The problem does not affect CPS Set Up orders on BT Retail CLIs, CPS Retain requests or CPS provisioning on WLR Transfer orders.
You may not have been affected but be assured that BT is working hard to resolve this issue for future orders and to correct any past errors on CPS WLR simultaneous new provides already completed.
The issue stops the provisioning of CPS on the Caller Line Identity (CLI) in question by BT systems. However CPS Operators will still receive the “Switch Notification” from the CPS Gateway confirming provision of CPS on the WLR CLI.
To negate the risk of the issue affecting your orders, you may choose to place your CPS orderonce the new WLR order has been completed. However please be assured that, if you wish to continue placing your simultaneous CPS WLR new provide orders, BT will be correcting any misimplementation as part of our fault resolution work.
Please accept our sincere apologies for this issue and for any confusion with your orders.
We will contact you again in the coming weeks with an update.
Please contact the CPS Helpdesk on 08702 411 419 should you have any queries.
BT Wholesale has identified an issue with a small number of Carrier Pre Selection (CPS) orders.
BT is interested in hearing from Communications Providers (CP) at any time when they are concerned about or not satisfied with the way in which BT is delivering or complying with the BT Undertakings.
BT would like to announce some changes we have made to both the Carrier Price List (CPL) and the Service Provider Price List.
