If communications are important to your organisation, you need to ensure that the cabling in any building is installed and managed in line with the standards that sustain the network beyond it - resilient, secure and future-proof. And that’s where our structured cabling can help.

The wholesale service is designed for larger cabling installations (typically with 300 or more outlets/terminals). Working at this scale every project is designed and priced individually.

We also have a modular offering for smaller installations, designed to support equipment vendors/resellers suitable for 8-24, 25-96 and 97-288 outlets respectively.

 

What we offer:

  • A fully managed service including site survey, scheme design and planning, pre-installation preparation, cabling, trunking, patch panels and outlets.
  • A project manager to co-ordinate every aspect of the work on larger projects, including full testing, documentation and handover on completion.
  • Staff with recognised security clearance, including DV and SC classification.

 

Our approach:

We have teams of engineers across the country accredited for structured cabling installations. They are supported by more than 200 cabling engineers, experienced in complex cabling projects such as exchange installations.

  • We install all cabling to the pre-designed plan and to the accreditation standards of the licence, using the most effective cable routes either under floor, in false ceilings or within trunking (the maximum cable run is 90 metres).
  • The cables are terminated within the cabinets onto patch panels and onto the RJ45 outlets at the desk destination. All cables are labelled and their circuit reference denoted at each end of the run.
  • We then test every element of the installation, covering both data link and voice testing and connectivity of the terminations. The fibre routes (if applicable) will also be tested to ensure optimum performance.
  • As a final quality check we carry out a comprehensive 100-point quality standards audit, which covers every aspect of the installation and documentation.

 

All cabling components carry a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty. This reflects a commitment to quality that has won us structured cabling work in the most demanding environments, including projects for high security military facilities.
