I am a BT Retail customer. What do I need to consider?
You don’t need to worry - interconnection between the BT network and that of another operator is managed by BT Wholesale.

 

I want to connect my network to the BT network. What do I need to take into account?
There are a number of technical and commercial steps that you have to take before interconnection can go ahead. Please contact us to discuss this process in more detail.


What are the industry timescales for interconnection?
There is an agreed contract for interconnection, used throughout the industry, and this has full details of the various timescales that apply to different scenarios.

Typically, however, it takes nine months for a new interconnection, from initial request to ready-for-service.

We can provide temporary alternatives while an interconnection is established. Please contact us to discuss further.
