Partial Private Circuits (PPCs) Bearer Validation Update - REF 06011

The BT Circuit Revenue Assurance Board (CRAB) team in completion of their work validating all PPC circuit inventories has commenced the PPC Bearer Validation. This validation is to ensure correct radial distance charges are applied to each bearer product. The targeted delivery for this work is end of March 2006.
This briefing is up issued as a further update to Interconnect Notification 06004 to re-confirm when the correct radial distance will be applied and the process used in completing this validation work:
• The Bearer variable radial distance for billing purposes is calculated as the Main Link Radial Distance between the SDH-node and the DPCN-node. This distance is calculated in whole kilometres between SDH-node (where the PPC Bearer begins) and the DPCN-node (where the PPC Bearer terminates).
