Business market requirements for Broadband
BTW recognises that broadband is increasingly being used to deliver applications and services to business end users. Our engagement aims to identify the essential functionality and product developments that are required to better support this market.
The key areas which have been identified so far are:

Creating the right service care products to support business End Users – you can find out more about our specific engagement in this area at Broadband Service Product Evolution and Harmonisation

Higher upstream bandwidth to better support SiP Trunking and VPN solutions and more symmetric applications such as voice

The ability to prioritise and assure the experience of key applications such as VoIP, Video-conferencing and critical data eg file transfers, data back-up and cloud computing
