BT IPstream-Advanced Services provides End User Speed Control and Downstream Quality of Service (QoS) functionalities. End User Speed Control allows Service Providers to limit the downstream throughput to individual End Users to a range of values below the line speed.
Downstream QoS allows Service Providers to set up assured rate downstream sessions to individual End Users to support applications such as video streaming over the IPstream network.
BT IPstream-Advanced Services functionalities are accessed using a new 21C interface described in SIN 427. This will require you to develop an application to interface with BT’s network. BT IPstream-Advanced Services are described in SIN 450
