Consult21's consultation work is centred on a number of discrete Working Groups (WGs). Consult21 Working Groups explore and discuss the respective views of BT and the industry as the 21CN programme progresses. These groups may be underpinned by specific expert groups which may also cover issues across the WGs, for example the NGN trials group. This will support both the Network Structure and Interconnect & Portfolio WGs.
The Working Group structure has now been refreshed to provide a more consistent product focus. This will better enable discussions within the communities of interest on those new and transitioning products which will be delivered into 21CN.
The Working Groups still operate under the auspice of the Industry Steering Board, which is co-chaired by Industry and BT.
